Marvin Gaye - In Our Lifetime (1981)

One of Gaye's funkiest albums coming at you all the way from 1981.  Marvin was responsible for writing, producing, arranging, and mixing all the songs himself. One of my favorite post-Motown albums from MG. IOL was an exit of his previous disco offerings and more of a branch out type of effort.

Side One
Praise
Life is for Learning
Love Party
Funk Me

Side Two
Far Cry (Arranged by Frank Blair)
Love Me Now or Love Me Later
Heavy Love Affair
In Our Lifetime

Below is a Youtube vid of the song "Funk Me"
Later sampled by Mobb Deep's "M.O.B." on The Safe is Cracked (2009)
