Bloodstone - Riddle Of The Sphinx (1975)

Bloodstone offers a bit of everything, doo-wop, funk, soul, and a sprinkle of Hendrix. Originally formed as a doo-wop quintet, this Kansas City band of brothers hit the scene in 1962. A decade later, 1972 saw their self-titled album, Bloodstone blow up the charts.

Riddle Of The Sphinx has a "pharaoh feel" to it as the cover artwork may suggest. Great tunes from the boys!

This LP is from my collection and another steal at 33 cents from a garage sale.

Side One
For The First Time
I Just Learned To Walk
Sign For Me Dad
My Little Lady
Something's Missing
A Time For Refelction

Side Two

Nobody But You
Save Me
  1. Save Me
